FAQ
Frequently asked questions
This page answers the most common questions about LFGo, including Discord requirements, public listings, player visibility, and premium access.
Question 01
What is LFGo?
LFGo is a service that helps players and server admins manage LFG activity. It keeps squad posts, player profiles, and public listings in sync across the site and Discord.
Question 02
Do I need the LFGo bot in my server?
Yes. Server-based features, including live post syncing, squad posting, and public server listings, require the LFGo bot to be installed in that Discord server.
Question 03
Who can manage a public server listing?
Only users with the required Discord server permissions, such as Administrator or Manage Server, can create, edit, publish, or remove a public server listing.
Question 04
Does LFGo replace Discord?
No. LFGo works alongside Discord. The website is intended to make browsing, joining, and managing squads easier, but Discord remains the primary platform for server membership, channels, and voice chat.
Question 05
What information can other players see?
Depending on the feature being used, other players may see your LFGo username, avatar, player card details, public profile information, and shared session history where applicable.
Question 06
How do I remove a server from Discover?
A server admin can disable visibility in Server Settings or use the `/server-discovery` command in Discord to deny or remove the public listing.
Question 07
How do premium subscriptions work?
LFGo offers user and server premium plans. Monthly and annual plans renew automatically unless cancelled. Lifetime plans are one-time purchases and do not renew.
